While the EU and UK agreed equivalence on Organic agriculture following BREXIT, this only applied to organic products that are of UK origin. We source, pack and import our Zuma Turmeric from a third country and as such it isn’t considered of UK origin and cannot be re-exported to the EU certified as Organic. Due to this, our Zuma Turmeric is now not certified organic, but the product itself has not changed. You may therefore notice that the next, and all subsequent orders of Zuma Turmeric will no longer be labelled as organic. Unfortunately this will in future apply to both Matcha and Beetroot, although we are some way off the stock of those switching. We will of course let you know when this will happen.
